How to set up and manage a shiatsu practice

Sound a bit daunting? Learning Shiatsu has such a massive practical component. There is a strong emphasis on self care and learning to choose comfort and ease rather than pushing. Doing the practitioner training as a form of self development is also an option. Classes are fun and structured so that it's easy to learn.

  • 600 hours of supervised workshops and student clinics

  • level based on requirements by the NHPNZ (Natural Health Practitioners Association)

  • 1000 hours of private practice and case studies. Also includes anatomy and physiology to health practitioner

All to be completed within a three year period. Can be completed within two years or less depending on ability or diploma level qualifications in another natural health bodywork modality.

10 weekend workshops per year (February-November) held in Auckland
Tuition fee: $400 per weekend workshop or can be paid in weekly instalments
Certificate course also available upon completion of 10 weekend workshops and practical assessment
