Having survived life-threatening disease, I have been given the gift of understanding the nature of illness and the struggle involved in regaining health.

My first experience of receiving shiatsu left me feeling elevated above my condition and for the first time in many years, free of pain! From that moment I became fascinated with becoming well and learning all I could about this wonderful therapy.

I was fortunate to undergo a six year apprenticeship training with Andzej Gospodarczyk who trained with Shizuto Masanaga (founder of Zen Shiatsu) and Masahiro Oki (founder of Zen Yoga) among others.
The visiting Japanese Sensei at the Shiatsu Ryoho College also enriched my experience.

I have enjoyed sharing my training in traditional zen practices and oriental medical systems as my own health and well-being has improved over the years.
